B609/4/E/6 IME Ltd, 1958-68. File of correspondence and copies of resolutions of IME, a company on the board of which JHB is represented.
B609/4/E/7 Irish Malt Exports (IME) and Irish Malt Products Ltd (IMP) Correspondence, 1972-81. These companies were both based at 51-52 Newmarket Dublin, and handled exports and certain sales for AGS commission maltsters. Correspondence is mainly with IME, and of a routine character. The two companies share most of the same directors, and JHB is represented on both boards. B609/4/E/8 IME and IMP Correspondence, 1982-91. Mainly routine regarding settling of accounts and submitting of crop quantities and financial figures. A note initialled by UO’M explains that IME own barley which is malted (as part of malting commission), while IMP own barley which is delivered to other companies. B609/4/E/9 Invoices and Statements, Irish Malt Exports Ltd Barley, 1961-76. File, including some letters, relating to shipment of malt for IME. Financial, but specifically linked to IME. B609/4/E/10 IME, 1967 (1965-68). Correspondence with IME, mainly regarding malt barley commissions. B609/4/E/11 Invoices, IME barley, 1971-75 B609/4/E/12 Irish Maltsters’ Association Correspondence, 1939-71. Correspondence with IMA, the industry representative body for Ireland’s maltsters. Copies of minutes present. Subjects include wage and labour negotiations with unions, terms under Conditions of Employment and Factory Acts, and dealings with Department of Industry. B609/4/E/13 National Seed Development Organisation and National Institute of Agricultural Botany, correspondence and mailings, mainly printed matter, 1966-68.
B609/4/E/14 Irish Seed Trade Association Report, 1988, and printed matter for 1989. 1989 matter includes ISTA Bulletin, Final Harvest Report Sheets for 1989, and a copy of the DoA Recommended List, 1990, for varieties of winter wheat, barley, and oats.
