B609/3/H/13 Rates, Claims for Abatement, 1945-52. Typescript claims, completed by the Company Secretary, WH Read. The claims list rated holdings of land on which men are at work. Noted is the electoral division, rate number, townland, and land valuation. Particulars of Adult Male Persons at Work on the Holdings also recorded. B609/3/H/14 Rates, 1981-88. File containing some demands and correspondence, but mainly consisting of legal correspondence ands documents regarding circuit court appeals against the Commissioner of Valuation, 1986-88, and earlier appeals, 1981-83. These latter include an appeal by National Grain Silo Ltd. B609/3/H/15 Rates, 1988-97. This file also consists largely of records of appeals against valuation decisions. Included is a précis of evidence by company directors in one case. Appeals by this time are made to the Valuation Tribunal, not the circuit court.
