Other Financial Volumes, 1845-1983. This sub-section contains remaining financial records in volume format, including bank balance books, sundry account books, rents and utilities accounts books, cheque payments books,
post books, and minor account notebooks. Personal account books have been placed with personal records [B609/9/A/60 & 61]. Files and unbound records follow in the next two sub-sections followed by shares, taxation, and rates records.
B609/3/D/1 Barley Stock Book and Accounts, 1845 to 1916. This volume details barley returns made and cash received for them. The majority of the returns are to AGS. Headings include delivery number, date, quantity, price, amount paid on delivery, unpaid, paid after, and when due. Totals are tallied and barley and payment details noted as required. From 1897/98, the form of return changes somewhat and is not as detailed. Returns rather than payments are documented. Towards the back of the book there is a record of barley receipts at Charleston and Ballinacurra Maltings, c1860-1889. The last few pages appear to be a financial diary, 1845-1850.
