[tab, seal] … James Miagh of the Citty of Cork merchant sends greeting … Whereas John Nash of the Cittie afforesaid merchant decd by his Deed indented of feoffment bearing date the tenth day of December One Thousand Six hundred and Thirty … granted, bargained, sold etc. unto James Miagh Fitz Patrick … a parcel of land in the manor of Shandon … and whereas James Myagh fitz James deceased heir of James Myagh fitz Patrick, by his deed dated 6 May 1665, for 30 li paid to him by Ignatius Gould, sold him the garden etc ... now James Myagh for 5 li paid by Ignatius Goold sold remainder of his rights in the property Endorsed: Signed etc.: Franc. I James Meagh fitz Patrick of the Citty of Cork merchant … for and in consideration of the sum of Threescore and Ten pounds currant etc. to me in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these presents … Have remised, released etc. to the said Ignatius Gould All the estate, right, title etc. … the messuage, stone house or tenement, scituate lying and being in the parish of St. Peter’s within the citty of Cork Wherein my uncle James Myagh fitz Patrick, late of Cork Merchant lived and Dwelled and now in the tenure of William Thornton mariner as lessee unto the said Ignatius Goold Endorsed: The Release by James Myagh vnto Ignatius Goold of his the said James Estate and right of in & to the Messuage or stone house in Cork.
