Seaman Kennefick would have been related to Michael Kennefick (b.1829, Crosshaven): shipowner, shipbuilder and later Cork Harvour Commissioner from that locale (see Henrietta). Additional information:

Captains Thomas Walsh and Jeremiah Walsh were brothers and the one succeeded the other as captain. While Jeremiah Walsh documented his birthplace simply as Waterford on his UK M&M papers, he listed his birthplace specifically as Dungarvan twice on IMNCL voyage account reports (for Eliza in 1866 and for Louisa in1868). Captain Jeremiah Walsh was married on 28 May 1842 at St Pat’s Cork to Catherine Sutton, the daughter of Captain Nathaniel Sutton (b.1794, Clonakilty).
