The Knights of Cork were important West Indies merchants (Anderson) and the Terror was engaged in West Indies trade.

Lost 11 December 1868 at Carnsore Point, Co Wexford. Seaman Benjamin Baker and apprentice Henry Goodlet were drowned (1869 IMNCL report). While the List of Shipwrecks - Wiki, misspelled the vessel’s name as Thames, it indicated her voyage to have been from Queenstown, Co Cork to Newport, Monmouthshire Lloyd’s described this vessel as a brigantine, however James Laughlin, the captain/owner, indicated her to be a schooner. Captain James Laughlin was identified by certificate number (Cert: 43.220). Previously sailed as Mate and Master on Champlain and Richard N Parker in American trade 1838 – 46.
