Constructed and for a few years sailed out of Clovelly, Devon, located at the entrance to the Bristol Channel.

Captain Michael McGrath was previously Mate and Master of R ebecca of Youghal in Mediterranean trade.

Mate Thomas Taylor started sailing on Cork ships in 1846, was previously Mate on Ballinacurra Las s and resided in Ballinacurra when applying for his Master Certificate in 1851. He later captained Nameless and Fanny Penny out of Youghal in the 1860s and 1870s and resided in Youghal.

Captain John McDonald earned his Mate Certificate in 1861 and would later serve on Victor and Albert out of Youghal. Captain James Duggan was the Captain J Duggan in Lloyd’s. He would later be Mate with Captain Denis McDonald (Youghal) on the Denis McDonald (Tallow) vessel Peregrine .

Apprentice Peter Farrell would captain the Anderida of Youghal in 1866 and obtain his Master Certificate in 1875.
