George Brown was a nineteenth-century Kinsale shipwright (Thuillier).
Captain Thomas Sutton was the primary captain 1830 – 3, based on a combination of Lloyd’s and Family History. UK National Archive records would next document him as the captain of the 94t schooner James Carmichael in 1835. Captain Thomas Sutton and Apprentice (future Captain) William Sutton were the second and fifth of five Clonakilty Sutton master mariner brothers. Captain John Sutton b. c. 1775 was their uncle. Captain D Connell was probably related to Mary Connell the mother of Julia Dempsey (b.1815, Kinsale) who married Captain Timothy (Thade) Donovan (b.1805, Kinsale). Their son, Andrew (b.1834, Kinsale), married Margaret Sutton (b.1848), a daughter of Captain George Sutton (b.1804, Clonakilty). Captain Timothy McCarthy was documented as Captain of the 45T Nancy of Kinsale in 1845 (BT98) prior to the schooner Sally in the second half of 1845 (see also Sally ).
