3. 1940s-1960s Postcards with pictures of ships (54 items including duplicates). Four completed cards are present: 'Rita' to Mrs O'Donoghue, Galway, 8 Aug 1946; 'Joe' to Arthure, 29 Oct 1962, on Europa bound for Dar-es-Salaam [colonial stamp]; 'John and Sr Marie Therese' to Mrs Hill, New Orleans, 10 Sep 1964; Catharine Gibbs to Arthure, Nilesbury [1970], regarding a 'lucky numbers' prize. The set also includes the following postcards: 11 relating to Ireland including Dun Laoghaire mail boat and Irish Rose; various liners, including Cunard, White Star, Blue Star, and others; 12 ship postcards by J Arthur Dixon; (54 items including several duplicates) 4. 2013 Photo of John B.
