Schedule of payments made under the schemes administered by the County Cork Committee of Agriculture. Payments are recorded for the shelter belt scheme, horse breeding scheme, sheep breeding scheme, livestock scheme, and poultry development scheme, for instruction in poultry keeping and for poultry stations. Payments for the purpose of the cottage prize scheme, encouraging improvement in breeds of cattle, the pig breeding scheme, instruction in agriculture, winter agriculture classes, instruction in horticulture, scholarships, the seed potato development scheme, the potato silage scheme, administration, subsidies to shows, subsidies to agricultural societies, instruction in butter making, for special apple trees, a potato steaming unit, scientific journals, film equipment, the scheme to encourage improvement in pig breeding and for the model cottage. Details recorded in relation to these payments may include the name and address of the payee, date when the payment was authorised, amount of payment, the number of the paying order, date when the payment was cashed, the purpose of payment, amounts carried forward and the certificate including signature of the chief agricultural officer. Also included in this volume is a letter from the department of agriculture dated the 18 September 1952 concerning the 1952 dairy cattle price scheme, a list of awards awarded under the dairy cattle prize scheme for 1952 recording the name of the heifer shown, date of birth of the heifer, tattoo marks, registration number, order of awards, a letter from the Department of Agriculture dated 4 December 1952 approving payments under the poultry development scheme, a letter dated 19 December 1952, approving payments under the 1952/1953 poultry development scheme,
