Refers to ‘application,’ ‘...It occurs to me some city man might get in running and work the usual influence notwithstanding canvassing....’ He would prefer to see the working venue fixed. Signed ‘do chara go deo Toirdhealbhach.’

He must try and manage a visit to Riverstown at arrange about the summer course, but he will have some days next week 'to talk this over'. 'The CLS (Celtic Literary Society} was effective in its early days because it was composed of men who really believed in separation and were under no delusion of about the humbug now prevalent about nationalists of all views combining against loyal addresses'. He refers to a resolution he made that may be recorded in the CLS minutes held by de Róiste.
