The Irish White Cross is '...an organisation on non-political lines...to relieve the distress occasioned by the present state of affairs in Ireland'. Objects include relief for those deprived of their livelihood, repair/restoration of buildings, machinery and other effects, provision of raw materials, provision of employment by organising works. Requests suggestions as to the work of the IWC in de Róiste's constituency, and as to the best method of organising collections and arranging for relief.
