Scope and Content: Possibly extracts from his journal. Recounts a 1915 trip to Macroom with his wife Nora and various events and matters concerning nationalists in Cork and across Ireland. Terence MacSwiney was in Ballingeary, and they took a walk together to visit Sean O'Hegarty and his wife at Tuirindubh. Sean has been well watched by the police of the district. Father Matt Ryan of Dundrum, Co. Tipperary was there also, he was known as 'The General' from Land League days and was attending Munster college at Ballingeary. Also, there was Father Dominic who was later Terence MacSwiney's chaplain.
