Scope and Content: Refers to a very big meeting on Sunday of at least 100,000 people, which made him uneasy as to the responsibility being taken on as regards 'our destination and methods of reaching it'. He 'felt almost appalled to think that any of us who have helped to put it going should now, or later, exploit it for any other purpose that that for which it was intended'. The crowd comprised almost exclusively the poorer elements of Dublin's population. Wonders how to keep up its 'interest after the Spanish business is liquidated'. Reviews in detail de Róiste's suggestion of a diocesan based organisation and other matters concerning Christian organisations.
