Refers to wire today on the dispute at the Cork Spinning and Weaving Company. He was in Cork and got an agreement between management and employees. A section of employees has broken away since, which is very serious as certain big contracts are likely to be cancelled. He wrote to Mr. Day who suggested contacting de Róiste. Encloses copy of provisional agreement in the dispute, dated 23 Jun 1922, its 6 clauses include a 13 and a half percent reduction in existing wages and salaries of all employees, and no further alteration except with application to Minister for Labour, Dáil Éireann.
