Scope and Content: Excuses him for not turning up at their meeting. Says the meeting was very successful in spite of the ‘Forces of law and order were in full control of the town. They patrolled all the roads....and several times within 300 yards of the meeting on a road underneath, but failed to locate our position’. Thanks him for his offer of a lecture.
