Scope and Content: Refers to Lord Mayor's public meeting at Council Chamber City Hall on Thursday 3 Dec 1914 for starting a fund to complete the equipment and training of the regiment. Refers to the finances since July and the 'minority of the old Provisional Committee' revolting against Mr. Redmond.... pursuing a policy calculated to injure both the Country and the Volunteers. Appeals for strong financial support. Adds that since the War began over 200 local men have gone to the front with some 25,000 others.
